When oppressive powers in our world amplify, anyone impacted can experience high stress, intense emotional pain and shut down. We can feel alone or broken, but you are NOT alone! Connect to our beautiful community to build skills to manage painful emotions and connect to personal values.

DBT Skills Group

A virtual DBT skill training group for those who want to connect with community.

In 12 weeks, this skills focused group will help you learn and practice DBT skills for emotion regulation including building relationship skills with boundaries, calming emotional triggers, and grounding in a secure sense of self to build a life worth living. You will walk away from this group already practicing skills daily in your life and connecting to meaningful relationships.

This group meets VIRTUALLY in the comfort of your own home and available to people all over the US! I am registered with PsyPact which allows me to provide virtual therapy to 40 states in the US! Anyone from the following states can participate in these groups: AL, AZ, AR, CA, CO, CNMI, CT, DE, DC, FL, GA, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, ME, MD, MI, MN, MO, NE, NV, NH, NJ, NC, ND, OH, OK, PA, RI, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WV, WI, WY

Group Tuition: $1200

($100/session, 12 weekly sessions)

How does it work?

When does group start? 

Groups run in the Spring and Fall of each year. Sign up for emails to hear first when group enrollment opens!

When will groups occur?

Weekly in the evenings to accommodate working schedules. When enrollment opens, you can select from possible meeting days and times and all participants will be notified on the finalized meeting day/time.

Who can enroll in this group?

Any adult who self identifies with the LGBTQIA+ and/or genderdiverse community and lives in the states listed below can enroll in this group.  These skills will be most helpful for people who experience overwhelming emotions, challenging relationship dynamics, frequent emotional distress or crisis, difficulty with boundaries and self identity.

Will my insurance cover this?

I am an out of network provider and do not bill insurance directly. However, you might have out of network benefits with your plan! Contact your insurance carrier directly to find out. All clients may obtain a superbill they can submit to their insurance for a partial or full reimbursement of the fees.

Why group instead of individual therapy?

Group can be an excellent way to build community and access the resources of others in group. Powerful growth happens in small groups supporting each other! If you prefer one - on - one services, check out my individual therapy offerings.
